Getting Settled

Well we have moved into our own place. It is by far the largest apartment we have ever lived in. It is so nice to live in a place and feel like you have space to move around in (now I can finally practice making up dances in my living room j/k). It is definitely a step up from our apartment in Corvallis. We have gained probably over 350 square feet of living space and there aren't a bunch of street rats (that is what I called the children living in Orchard Court) running around leaving their junk everywhere. We have been in our apartment almost two weeks now and it is starting to feel like home. Pretty much everything is unpacked, except everything that goes in the bookcase. We no longer have a bookcase since it was destroyed during the move. It did not really make me sad since it was a piece of junk anyway. We have gone to church in our new ward twice now. It seems like a good ward. There are a lot of dental and medical students in the ward. I really am getting sick of the whole process of having to meet people in a ward and try to remember their names. Since we have been married the longest we have been in a ward is 1 1/2 years, so hopefully this will be a good one since we will most likely be in it for 4 years. Madilyn is enjoying being able to run around the apartment without me constantly telling her to stay out of everything. I just can't believe how big she is getting. She will be 1 1/2 at the end of October. She is looking more and more like a little girl and not a baby, it makes me a little sad.

I'm so glad you found good apartments up there. I can't wait to move! And I agree with Ana, it's definataly time for you to have another kid. It's your turn in the rotation; Brindy, you, Katrina, Shiara, then me. You're up next, you better get busy! ;) Hopefully we'll see you guys in a week or so. I think we might come up next Saturday (the 27th). We'll probably do Portland in the morning and Salem on the wasy home.

Hey Jen! How are you? I'm glad that you are settling in. I'm sure you will love your ward. You no doubt will quickly make friends.
