Well today is Madilyn's first birthday. It has been birthday week at the Conklin home this week. Anton's was on monday and mine and Madilyn's is today. I could not have asked for a better birthday gift. It is crazy that it has already been a year since Madilyn was born. This past year has brought the biggest changes in my life. It has probably been the hardest yet most rewarding year of my life. Anton and I are so grateful to have been blessed with such a wonderful little girl.

Happy Birthdays all around. I'm glad we could celebrate with Anton, but what, did we not get invited to Jen and Madilyn's party? I guess we're not cool enough to make that list. Sad.
How cool to share birthdays! Well at least a mom would think it's cool...she'll probably love it until she's a teenager and then decide to celebrate it on a different day just to spite you!!
