The real "O.C."

With the help of our awesome friends and family we moved on Wednesday June 11th. We were able to cram all of our belongings (minus a couch) into my in-laws Ford pick-up and a large U-Haul trailer. I was afraid it all wouldn't fit, but it did. Yay!! I have had bittersweet feelings leaving Corvallis. We have met some real life long friends and I will miss them. We started our family in Corvallis. I really enjoyed going to Oregon State. I really enjoyed my job at the school and the people I worked with there. I loved the town. I have realized I really am a small town, country girl at heart, although I do need a large shopping mall fairly nearby. I feel like it was in Corvallis where Anton and I were able to grow as a couple. I am excited for the new chapter in our lives, but I am not a fan of change so it is an adjustment period for me. I am grateful for Anton's parents allowing us to live with them for the summer so that we can save money, but sometimes it is hard when you don't have your own place and you don't know where you are going to live in a few months, but we will all survive. One thing I will not miss in Corvallis is our apartments. I loved saving money by living in OSU Family Housing (aka O.C. or Orchard Court), but I will not miss the loud neighbors, the annoying children, and the trash people would leave all over the place. I did enjoy living near a lot of our friends, it made living there bearable. Thanks guys!!!

Wow, I can't believe you won't be there the next time I go to a Corvallis gathering! How sad! We really miss Corvallis! Especially how easy it is to ride our bikes everywhere there.

Anyways, good luck with OHSU and the next phase of your life! I hope that we still meet up for some gatherings!

I still can't believe that you guys won't be there when we get back. What are we going to do? We'll have to start a count down to when we will be joining you in Portland. I love that picture, I'll have to get a copy. And you can't even tell that Isabella is screaming her head off. ;)
