A few days ago Maddy woke up and told Anton that she had a scary dream about a pink bird with stripes. A little strange. So a few days ago Anton was putting Maddy to bed:
Maddy:"There is a monster in my closet."
Anton:"No, there's no monster."
Maddy:"No monster, just a bird."
I guess Maddy has a strange fear of birds now. Especially ones that are pink with stripes.

Well, pink is passe and that means old so she is afraid of old birds. Old birds have disease and maybe even rabies and might try to peck at you or die on your windowsill, leaving their freaky bird diseases. Now I'm afraid of pink birds. Great.
