For awhile I have had a crazy desire to run a half-marathon. Anton willingly ran it with me. We signed up for the half in Leavenworth, WA, which is also where Anton and I went on our honeymoon over 6 years ago (crazy). It was absolutely beautiful. Leavenworth is a bavarian themed town, super cute. The weather could not have been better. The race was alot of fun. While training I was having issues with my arches getting blisters. During the race the blisters were not kind to me. I really felt like my endurance was great, it was just my feet slowing me down. Anton and I were just a few seconds behind the man who won the race... he just happened to be running the full marathon. We had a really enjoyable weekend, without the little kiddos :)

Bravo! Leavenworth looks awesome and beautiful. If I were to run a half marathon I would go to there.
