The other day I decied to dust off the jogging stroller and run with the kids up to a nearby park. They both had a lot of fun. Maddy found a "friend" (basically anyone who is around her age qualifies as a friend, if only it were always that easy). Sam is very close to walking and is still just as happy as ever. Recently his favorite toy has been a little toy knife, little weird :) Maddy continues to say and do funny things all the time.
I was wearing a headband the other day and Maddy stopped what she was doing and looked up at me and said, "Cute headband mom." She also informed me one time that a particular bag was not a purse but a handbag. She is also one to be very dramatic. The other day she was playing cinderella and I was the fairy godmother and the clock and Anton was the prince. I (aka fairy godmother) got cinderella ready for the ball and she met up with the prince. Then I (aka the clock) alerted cinderella that is was midnight, "dong, dong, dong..." She told Anton (aka the prince), "I must go!" She then ran down the hall and kicked off one of her "glass slippers" only in the most dramatic way possible.
Maddy has also started ballet class. Last week her tights weren't fitting her quite right, so she started crying saying, "I don't want to go to ballet!" I thought, wow.
