Pack your bags kids were moving to...

PORTLAND!!!! Yup, Anton got an e-mail from OHSU yesterday. We are really excited. I am so proud of him. We are 99.9% sure that we are going to OHSU, the only other school that Anton is really interested in is in Louisville, Kentucky and we have not heard from them yet. It is such a relief to know where we will be moving to.
Last night I had a girls night with a bunch of friends. We went to Red Robin, I had the Clucks n' Fries which I like to call Clucks n' Fat because that is basically what it is. It was a lot of fun to get out and hang with the girls.
Our Thanksgiving up in Portland was a lot of fun. We celebrated Thanksgiving day with Anton's family at his brother Derek's house and Saturday we went over to my brother's house to celebrate my family's Thanksgiving. It didn't feel completely like Thanksgiving since both Charlynne and her family and Keaira were not there (my sisters). We only had about 6 pies, which is a huge decline from previous years. Note to Charlynne: It is an interesting correlation, you not being here equals less pies, maybe we have a lot of pies because you make almost half of them :) My family also does a gift exchange each year since Thanksgiving is the holiday when everyone is in town. We do $10 or under and it is played somewhat like a White Elephant gift exchange. Although this year with my brother Tyler in charge we played a "Survivor" themed exchange. We all had to guess how many M&Ms were in a jar. The closest person won immunity. My mom won immunity and she got to go last and take any gift she wanted no matter how many times it had been stolen. She stole my gift! Which is okay I guess, but it didn't help when my brother Marc had stolen another gift of mine earlier in the game. I still ended up with a good gift though. At the end my brother declared, "The tribe has spoken." You could tell he was waiting all night and the for the perfect moment to say that. His wife told us that he had been practicing, what a nerd :) Needless to say it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately we did not really get any pictures since our battery on our camera died and we didn't bring the charger. Madilyn is huge compared to her cousins that are around her age.
I have been called to another calling at church. I am now the Young Women's Ward Camp Director and a Visiting Teaching Supervisor. I am kind of nervous about the whole camp thing, but hopefully it will be good. Next week is finals and then we are off for about 4 weeks. Life is really good right now and we feel so blessed.

thats exciting, i'm sad though! selfishly, i am hoping you guys move to Kentucky, but moving across the country isn't very nice when you have such strong roots in Oregon and no support system in Kentucky. :(

CONGRATS though! that really should have been the first thing i said.
