Last Friday, December 7, our friends had our first Christmas party. We made it a "ugly holiday sweater" party. Anton and I found our sweaters at the Goodwill. I must say they are pretty ugly. We got Madilyn a holiday sweater at Ross, but it isn't really ugly. It's actually very cute, but it is a boys sweater so we had to make sure she wore a bow and pink socks. It was a lot of fun. This past week has been nice, we have not had a whole lot going on. I have been doing a lot of my Christmas shopping and I am almost done. I wanted to get done before we went up to Portland for Christmas since I always seem to wait until the last minute and then I get really stressed out. Anton's family draws names each year. This year I got his sister Daya. I bought her a gift and when I got home I was debating a little bit whether or not I should get her something else because I really liked what I got her. My practical side won over my selfish side, so she will be getting what I originally planned on giving her. We plan on going up to Portland next week either Monday or Tuesday. I am excited to see family and friends. I love the Christmas season!!
